Acid Stain on Concrete

The acid stain process reacts with the concrete to produce multi-hued coloring effects creating elegant concrete floors that resemble marble or stone. The color penetrates the concrete, it will not fade, chip, peel or wash away and will last the lifetime of the surface to which it is applied.

Because it is translucent in color, acid stains will highlight any imperfections, cracks repairs, or color changes from old stains that are in the concrete.  Many times people choose to leave the cracks alone to give the floor a weathered and broken in type of look that creates character in the flooring.

Once the desired color effects have been achieved, stained surfaces are sealed to enhance the color and to prevent stains of the unwanted kind.
Statement:
The acid stain process is marvelous!  it interacts with the concrete and with the hand that applies it, you can never be sure how it will react. It is a perfect example of the perfection of imperfection!

Artistic acid stain floors give character and personality to any space, they are
"a breath of fresh air" from the lifeless common tile floors.
